Last night Robin Gibb's Magnetic Tour reached Moscow. Robin gave a stand-alone live performance at the Kremlin Concert Hall. The State Kremlin palace is one of the best and most prestigious theatrical/concert venues of Moscow and Russia. Robin was accompanied by his band as well as an orchestra. Celebrities including Robin Gibb launched yesterday a new advert drawing attention to the plight of children who die because of extreme poverty. Make Poverty History, which has produced the advert, said one child dies every three seconds from extreme poverty. Robin Gibb has recorded a cover of Woman In Love with Liz McClarnon (singer and contestant in British reality TV show Island of Love). She revealed to Insider that she's about to release it as a single. The track was recorded in Britain last week and is produced by Robin Gibb who also sings on it. In the works are  a Maurice Gibb tribute album (including Paul McCartney, Wyclef Jean, Jagged Edge, Rascal Flatts, Snoop Dogg and, Sheryl Crow),  a free summer concert in Central Park (July 4th, 2007) to be broadcast and taped,  a prime-time special,  a Broadway musical ("You Win Again") to debut on Broadway and London's West End toward the end of next year,  a film and  a book. Robin Gibb received today a prestigious Rock And Roll diploma from Paul McCartney during a ceremony at the ex-Beatle's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) in England. Our friend Gordon Peng and his family in Robin's concert it Taipei :"The last 1/3 of the concert had 99% of the audience standing there listening, singing & dancing with Robin. Ballads like "I started a Joke" or "To Love Somebody" brought back nice memories to the old fans, whereas upbeat songs such as "You Win Again" or "You Should Be Dancing" kept everyone dancing and the floor shaking. The album Guilty Pleasures will debut in the charts next week. The competition will be tough, since new albums from Bon Jovi and Disturbed are selling better than Guilty Pleasures, but no doubt Streisand's album will enter in the top 10.
